| Indiastar 2002 - National Awards for
Excellence in Packaging EBG Division (Electrical Sector) has bagged the Prestigious National Award for developing Eco-Friendly Packaging for FN-63 Switch Disconnector Fuse for the year 2002 INDIASTAR is a prestigious National Award given to innovative and creative designs. It recognises the excellence in packaging in constructive and material usage, design, innovative technology and incorporation of environment consideration. Indiastar is awarded by Indian Institute of Packaging, which is the only National Institute of Packaging representing India at Asian Package Federation(APF) and World Packaging Organisation (WPO). EBG Electrical Division re-designed the unit carton of FN-63 SDF to eliminate thermocole padding substituting with eco-friendly corrugated fibre board (CFB) padding. Also the carton is modified suitably so as to Hnpack the product easily by the customer. Material substitution and volume reduction has resulted into cost reduction. |
